What I Did Today - My run in with a Fox
It has been a goal of mine for the year 2019 to take a photo of a fox in the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen. The foxes that live there are relatively used to humans and therefore a much easier model to take photos off then a regular fox in the wild would be.
I had my first run in with a fox in October 2018 that particular fox was really shy so the only photo I managed to take is this one.
After that I have had two unsuccessful visits, today was the day it finally ended up working out! With a group of photographers I went to the spot where foxes are usually sighted and after a little bit of a wait one finally showed up!
My friend Iris managed to make this cool photo of me taking photos of the beautiful red fox.
This little male fox turned out to be quite the model! He stuck around for around 5 minutes and that gave us plenty of time to take some lovely photographs. I am beyond happy with this encounter and even happier to stripe this goal off of my wishlist. Although I do have to say that I am itching to go back soon when the foxes have had their young ones.
